Jose Bravo is a psychologist photographer. And a photographer psychologist.

Maybe that’s whyhe’s a man with a unique perspective.

He and his lens get themselves into the moment, or rather into the essence of it,

in order to help us discover what only his eyes could grasp.

As a photographer psychologist Jose follows the precepts os the Gestalt school.

Thanks to his camera, he plunges into the lives of the people he accompanies,

giving them an bird-eyes view that he completes with images.

Therapeutic photographs that make their characters talk about themselves:

about their fears, their virtues, their growth potential.

And as a psychologist photographer, Jose also allows the viewer to see beyond the picture,

to imagine, to understand and eventually to grow.

His photographs show the history behind the story.

Those that actually happened, those which he portrayed and those each of us rebuild.

Jose Bravo is an artist. And a psychologist. Or just the opposite.

Jose Bravo es un fotógrafo psicólogo. Y también un psicólogo fotógrafo.

Tal vez por eso sea un hombre dotado de un punto de vista único.

Su objetivo y su persona se introducen en el momento, o más bien en la esencia del momento,

para ayudarnos a redescubrir lo que solo sus ojos pudieron captar.

Como psicólogo fotógrafo José sigue los preceptos de la escuela Gestalt.

Con la ayuda de su cámara se sumerge en la vida de las personas a las que acompaña,

aportándoles una visión externa que se completa con imágenes.

Fotografías terapéuticas que les hablan a sus protagonistas de ellos mismos:

de sus temores, de sus virtudes, de su potencial de crecimiento.

Y como fotógrafo psicólogo José también permite al espectador ver más allá,

imaginar, comprender. Crecer, en definitiva.

Sus fotografías muestran las historias tras la historia.

Las que sucedieron realmente, las que él retrató y las que reconstruimos cada uno de nosotros.

Jose Bravo es un artista. Y es un psicólogo. O todo lo contrario.
